Asphaltic Joint (MATRIX 502)
MATRIX 502 is compacted and finished leveñ to the existing pavement surface to give a smooth noise-fee ride. This system is applicated up to 50mm of movement in isostatic bridge with gap of 20-40 mts.

Modular Joints with movement capacities up to 127mm and the Modular Expansion Joint with movement capacities up to 1000mm.

Transflex Joints

Product Description

The TRANSFLEX system consists of rubber moulded modules reinforced with steel.TRANSFLEX is supplied in modules of a specified length and are anchored to both sides of the structural joint. There is a wide range of modules that absorb movements up to 1200 mm in length, including those produced by skew joints. Their main functions are to absorb these movements, ensure quiet traffic and provide effective sealing of the joint on the road surface.

There are various models of this type of joint available, depending on the movements they must absorb and the width of the structural opening they must bridge.Their design is based on the same TRANSFLEX® principle, with three special features:A bridging module, formed by a robust part, whose task will be to bridge and support the traffic on the structural opening.A movement module, formed by steel reinforced rubber, whose task will be to absorb the specified movements.Safety anchor bars which, located longitudinally to the highway, prevent deformations and possible sagging in the movement modules. Two available versions: one a symmetrical model and the other asymmetrical, the symmetrical model for joints between bridge decks and the asymmetrical model for joints between the deck and abutment.

Characteristics

  1. The joint absorbs movements up to 1,600 mm in length.
  2. Modules rubber coated to protect the reinforcements .
  3. They ensure comfortable travel over the joint.
  4. Extraordinary durability.Possibility of absorbing skew movements.
  5. “Transflex Type” installation. Does not require special work beforehand on the site, such as slotting or the arrangement of notches.
  6. Easy, fast assembly when replacing old joints.
  7. Impact loads are fully absorbed by the system.
